Highlite - Part I

I am so so so so happy I saw a rainbow!!!!!!!!!! Know this sounds bimbotic but come on! This is only the 2nd time I've seen a REAL rainbow (in my entire life), so there's nothing wrong with being overly excited! This really made my day!

I pigged out BIG time last nite! Pls forgive me!!

My current fave jap rest of the moment (besides the one at cuppage). I ordered my usual Ebi Cheese Curry Udon and had a couple of side dishes to go along with it. Its all quite yummy but something seemed lacking! Think I missed the liveliness over at the Starhub Centre branch & the cute (literally adorable) jap manager who had an infectious smile on 24/7. Hehe


2. The V Tea Room
Been eyeing on this Victorian style tea place @ esplanade mall for the longest time. Finally got the chance!! The delectable display of liquer tea cakes scattered with rose petals, elaborate European life-doll-house-sized chairs/tables, humongous embossed leather menu and magnificient customer service blew me away. Although I had a tough time figuring out the menu (Blame it on the cursive fonts), I ended up a drink which I very much enjoyed : - "The Night Cap Dreams" drink which blended my fave camomile with honey. The proclaimed World Best Cake - Strawberry Melt Cake left me & bud kinda disappointed tho.. probably cos I prefer my cakes chilled and spongey...But overall the place sure has a charm on its own and I would love to revisit the place once more.. (i.e when I feel richer lol)

9pm. Had a homely saturday and cooked sweet and sour pork for dinner. Wasted my morn/afternoon away the night's gg to disappear soon too. Time really flies during weekend doesnt it.. before we know, it's Monday all over again.

Its been awhile, during these past weeks many things happened; stayed over @ jo's bday bbq n pigged out, attended lan's graduation, cuz's housewarming, took on more accounts for my job, received more cookie orders, got screamed at by a @#&$ mat for nothing, went to marina sq for d v first time after d reno, spent a bomb on cookie cutters, ate a $8 burger @ carl jr and much more!

I finally met up wif Reg for the first time..after 8 months! Miss her alot!! Back in HSBC, we hung out loads, had lunches together, made faces to entertain each other in between those dreadful calls n much more. After we left, we promised to go out often.. but it din happen (due to work commitments). I was starting to think that this could possibly turn out to be one of those friendship that'll fade in time.. and one fine day when we meet.. we'll act like we never knew each other.

Thankfully not! Hee had a great time with her, she's still the same girlish Reg. Though it was a short 3 hour meet, I'm glad we did. Also she bought me precious moments candy which was sooo pretty. Hope to meet her soon again. :)
