:Lotus Flower - Looking splendid. A must-include "favourite flower" in past autograph books.
:Rain Droplets - like the way they cling onto panes.
:Abandoned Pink Sofa - Unwanted; like me at times.

NOW:-
:Queezy Tummy. Must be the bad milk.
:Thinking of someone. Time will tell.

This is really interesting!! This evening, I was handling a sotong (squid) I bought fm Shing Song Supermarket.. so I did the usual, getting the inky part and the plastic like bone out. Also Inserted my hand into the body to see whether there's any more eeky parts. Then I felt something prickly - like bones, which was weird.. Then out came a tail that seemed to belong to a fish and i'm like, what the..........!!!! In my hand went again and out came the fish head. (See pic!!) LOL OMG I couldn't believe my eyes!! This very poor sotong was captured while enjoying his/her meal!! And he/she happens to be the main ingredient for the seafood baked rice I made. *Rubs Tummy* Opps!

I'm a bad bad crappy sotong.

I'm "masking" as I'm blogging.. lol Bought some packet masks fm Dodo Club some time back and finally decided to try it! Reasonably priced @ $2.90, ez to use. and most importantly.. its plain FUN! I stuck that wet piece of potato mask onto my face, then let d fan blow directly on my face..very cooooooling! haha.

*Excited* Frosted the remaining cookies I couldnt finish for the charity & brought them to office. The response was OVERwhelming (I never expected adults will be more excited than those kids).. and now they r gg to pay for my cookies!! 42 ORDERS to date!!! It all started when my mentor suggested I do cookies for her daughters' teachers (for teacher's day).. and my dear manager ordered 15 cookies alone. *Sniff Sniff* Judging fm the response, this line is def do-able. I've just taken another step towards my dream.. wish me luck!

Wa Lau, suddenly SO MANY THINGS I want to blog.. but NOT enough time...so gonna do it altogether. Hmm Wonder why the sudden enthusiam?

10/8/05 - Corrinne May Concert @ Esplanade

SOLD-OUT Corrinne May Concert left me wanting more of it! ya ya ya, there were some minor hiccups (eg. forgetting lyrics - the birthday song, slight microphone screw ups, me getting caught using my pinky..opps heehee), but her FIRST RATE, breath-taking performance supercedes them all!! Loved Journey, The Birthday Song, Walk Away, Close To You esp. Loved Corrinne's bashful giggles, her story-telling, her angelic voice..wish it din have to end so soon..

12/8/05 - Charlie & The Chocolate Factory

FULL-FORCE Chocolatey experience this very day. I mean how can you say you have appreciated the "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory" Movie without any dosage of chocolate!? So.. before the movie, I treated myself a double chocolate frap & opera-diva chocolate cake. That's not it!! The theatre which I caught my show had SCENTERTAINMENT!! Chocolate aroma was released during the screening of the movie and guess what I ended up having chocolatey dream that very night! More about the movie, Tim Burton impressed me with his extensive visuals of Wonka's chocolate factory, I think Johnny Depp's oddball fitted the role the cranky Willy Wonka perfectly (tho I felt he has immense potential to look better). The Oompa Loompas clones were hilarious but errr...in a crappy and lame way. Overall, it was quite entertaining lar.

13/8/05 - Family Day

One activity after another, continuously..busy buzzy day. Lunched at Hong Kee with my parents. An inconspicuous spot in Geylang with vintage interiors, the restaurant serves pretty good beef brisket kuay teow. The beef brisket here is one of the better ones I've tasted other than Crystal Jade's. YUMMY!

After getting a new set of sofa, presents for my new born cousin etc, my mum & I headed into City Chain. She desperately needed a temp watch cos her rolex's strap was faulty. Being the cheapskate us, we zoomed straight into the section where there was a HUGE sticker "60% Summer Cheers Sale". Alas, she got a Delvina watch that flattered her small bony wrist! Unexpectingly, I bought myself a Adidas watch! Original px S$139, S$55.60 after 60% discount.. couldnt resist the super good offer la! Afterall, I only had ONE watch, so another would do more good than harm, right? Haha excuses!!

Sat 6/8 - Fund Raising Carnival
YAY!!! I'm really really really HAPPY! My icing cookies were a HUGE success!! So were my brownies!! The cookies especially sold like hotcakes and none was left!! Woo hoo...Initially, the price was slightly steep and would not really sell much.. but I was wrong! Thanks to all who bought my cookies and appreciated my hardwork. Esp the lil girl who bought like 5 cookies from me hehee... I couldn't have done it without your support!!! *Sniff* (Drama rama sia haha!!!) The carnival did GREAT with the help of those dedicated/chatty/cheery colleagues/volunteers + sedap food - the chicken wing/kueh pie tee/poh piah/curry chicken, interesting decor. A round of applause pls!!

Above pic shows some of the cookies sold on Sat. Frosting them was tough but the satisfaction/enjoyment of the entire process overshadows it all! This could well be my next career move!! (Errrr...provided I get 'customers' lar) haha. I really feel these cookies do make great welcome gifts for parties/weddings/bdays!! so peeps, pls help spread the word! *LOL*

Sun 7/8 - Escape Theme Park
The charity fair kinda tired me out and I must admit I had second tots abt Sunday's event. I still turned up tho (2 HOURS LATE :|) - Paiseh) because promise was already made. There were no regrets at all! I mean how often get to do all of these all in one day?? --> Getting drenched inside out, fly like a superwoman, race like Jay Chou in Initial D (Ya right)and get spooked by ghosts!! Well, I did - in Escape Theme Park! Fantabulous Fun-Filled Moments captured courtesy of my dear new lumix 8 named Pinky.

Viking
