Ha-LOW!! Wass-UP! Ha-LOW! WASS-UP! That 'annoying' but catchy phrase (of d BEP concert) still lingers in my mind. LOL! Finally, the BLACK EYED PEAS concert after weeks of anticipation!! The indoor stadium was almost half filled with Americans, Europeans and Australians teens (and for some, their parents)! I cant help but be reminded me of the times when di and me would go lido during the weekends to watch a teeny boopy movie.

The concert kicked start with three performances, all of which were winners of the "Opening Act Audition" organized by 98.7fm. The crowd inc me n bud simply loved d last act by Wicked Aura Batucada the most, which I feel had some flavour of Safri Duo in it. Just as our spirits were just getting lifted, we were made to wait another dreadful 1/2 hour before BEP finally appeared @ 9.25pm. *shrugs*

Nonetheless, BEP delivered! >80% of the audiences got their butts off the seats and partied to the tunes! VV NICE!! We grooved, waved to the beat, screamed just like anyone else! I was worried that the crowd will be sian but surprizingly, they were extremely spontaneous and high!! Fergie did back-flips very well and the rest did a great job at the free-rapping session (even tho i had no freakin idea what they were rapping about lol)! Overall, it was all enjoyable n fun and oh yeah, did I mention my digicam's cover is still at the indoor stadium?

Side-tracking; On my way home last night, I just couldn't resist tearing down all the pamphlets that was stuck on the lift walls and letter box! *scratches hand* Town Council should be thankful I'm doing them a favour! haha

As a faithful buyer of IdN magazine, I got to know about the IdN conference/exhibition at expo. So yesterday, we went to take a look. The design exhibits were really cool, the graphic design books were extremely unaffordable, got in free even though there was supposed to be a $5/per person entry fee. A lil disappointed tho coz I was expecting alot more stuff but it was still alright for me~

Then, we met up with bud for dinner and most importantly to purchase our Black Eyed Peas concert tickets. Me & bud settled for the $79 ones.I am super duper broke now.. so this show better be worth it! haha.

Caught "Facing Window" which won Best Film at Italy's David di Donatello Awards. I haven't watched much foreign films since my bestie aka super duper movie buff, di, left for aussie. Well I'm really glad I did coz the film explores ordinary people's life. The message in the movie was very meaningful as well. We should never be content to merely survive or to dream of a better world. We should live the dream. As quoted in the review, "Facing Window is a powerful, emotionally complex drama about a young wife and mother trying to find a way out of her boring life. The unexpected arrival of an elderly amnesiac man into her household acts as a catalyst for her to start pursuing her dreams of personal fulfilment". I'll give it 4 stars out of 5!!!

Just caught American Idol 3 , it was Big Band Night tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance, because jazz, as always, touches me without fail. I know of many pple who dislike jazz, some think its slow n boring, some feel that the genre is for the old folks. But I can never resist jazz. The smoothness lets me get in touch wif the sensitive/emotional side of myself and makes me feel totally relaxed. Its just incredible. Recently, I've been listening to tunes of Jamie Cullum..his voice is purely addictive... the sort that really grows on you. Oh I just cant help but feel jazzy tonight..woo hoo!!!

Anyway i am just glad to be back! Previously I've been hit by the f***ing Sasserworm and (I suspect) some email viruses - as a result I could not get online for two days and boy that felt damn shitty. Even though I can get online now, my system is extremely laggy; programmes takes ages to open up. d anti-virus is 'infected' too, live updates cant b done anymore. *shrugs* Hopefully it gets fixed soon. The last 2 posts have been kinda dull so I'll leave u guys with a picture : crepes I made today for dinner.. lol food again!! really cannot make it men..
