Happy Lunar New Year everyone!! Last night reunion dinner was a relatively simple one..afterall its juz my parents n myself..but I particular enjoyed one this (see above pic) its called "Buddha Jump Over The Wall" LOL.. It contains sharks fin, dried scallops, abalone, fish maw, mushroom n sea cucumber (I leave this one out). *yummy yummy* esp wif abit of red vinegar n white pepper. I had like three bowls of it.. haha keke. the rest of the dishes were kinda.. ermm boring n typical.

Today's programme was simple. Visit my two granny's place n my mission: to get as many ang pows (red packets) as I can!!! Its the same old routine I've been following for years.. n this year is no exception. Ate lotsa new year goodies esp kuei lapis n pineapple tarts!!! Juz hours back, I over heard over perfect 10 that one pineapple tart contains an average of 82 calories! I ate close to 10 today.. that means.. I've accumulated a total of 820 calories! OMG!!! Tis d season to put on more weight! (like its not enuff!!) Haha but i doubt this 'useful' information will deter me fm eating more CNY goodies.. keke pineapple tarts rulezz!!!

Tired. Exhausted. Brain dead. That's wat happens after working 5 hours continously on making............PINEAPPLE TARTS! LOL. As I am writing, I can feel my back aching a little.. most of today was devoted to preparing for CNY. Was dragged out of house early in the morning to buy a new carpet for my home.. then.. mum n I queued for half an hour for bak kwa *shrugs*

After we all got back.. my mum, dad n I worked hand in hand to produce 7 containers of pineapple tarts! keke Cleaning up was damn tedious n dreadful.. coz the kitchen was in a MESS! Its all finished n we finally got it over n done with.

CNY is juz around the corner.. n one part of me dreads it.. coz I dun think I can fit into the clothes I bought for new year.. *sighz* But thinking about the ang pows I will b getting def makes me feel much much better kekee...

People say pictures speak more than 1000 words. Well they're prob rite.. the photos I took prob sums up my day in Chinatown! Great company, amazing lightings n I couldn't resist not taking any pix. Finally I started to ultilize my ixus digicam to the max today n I'm glad I did :) Bought my fave wasabi peas - damn power!

I woke up 7.30am in the morning cravin for blueberry cheesecake. So I washed up, and by 8am i was already heading to my nearest supermarket to buy d ingredients.I started on my blueberry cheesecake at 8.30 and...Tada.. haha!!!!!!!!! Yummy yummy! Suddenly I'm inspired to cook all over again.. fish & chips, macaroni cheese, oreo milk shake..hmm n the list goes on!! *drools* I really really do wanna start a cafe of my own.. wonder if that dream will ever come true *shrugs*

The rest of the day was spent watching DVDs which were actually meant for di (left by jia) hee The first was SOLARIS by George clooney.. really slow moving n pretty hard to comprehend. The next one was IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY by d Douglas Family... was alright.. i felt the father-son team did haf chemistry on screen :) The weekend is approaching soon.. time flies men..

*yawns* I think I am insane..I woke up merely 15 min ago and I decided to upload/edit my new layout (I mean new design i finally LAYOUT) lol . Many thanks to sam for helping me out wif the tedious codes.. couldnt haf done it so fast without him! SAM'S DA MAN!!! LOL the rollover script seems abit unstable .. seems like i get broken links of the menu sometimes. Hmpf..

Sigh its so near to the start of school n i dread even the tot of it. Its my last year already n everything's pretty fucked it up .. Actually I totally deserve it coz i havent put any effort into at all.. This course is totally not me, I cannot see myself working in this field for long.. I prob die. But who noes I might juz resign to fate one day...we'll see.

Yesterday 3/1 hasn't been a very smooth day for some. May the Lord look upon them kindly & give them all the strength they need.

Btw, Happy New Year :) Lets hope everyone has a smashing year ahead of them
